During the meeting and the later written review it was obvious that Ian, not only has a very attentive and easy approach/manner (I think he can get along with anyone) he is also able to absorb a large amount of relevant information in a short space of time. Because he is clearly very experienced in matters of sales, general commerce, and organisations, he can put this information into perspective, concisely review it and then present multiple opportunities from it. Ian makes an excellent addition to a team.

I have known Ian for over 30 years and had the pleasure of working with him at Wiles Greenworld when I attended their Board Meetings. As a Director at Wiles Greenworld, Ian was the driving force behind the growth of the organisation, where he commanded great loyalty from both the clients and the staff at all levels.

Ian’s ability to lead teams and see the opportunities for growth and his commitment to sustainability in the market place, long before it was popular is to be admired and resulted in Wiles Greenworld not only profitably increasing sales but also in winning both local and national awards including The Sunday Times Best Green business award in 2012.

As Companies grow it is almost inevitable that they will make acquisitions and Ian has a proven successful track record of integrating businesses whilst maintaining both staff and sales which is a great skill. It is not often that you meet an individual like Ian, that combines both excellent numerical skills, leadership qualities and the ability to work with a team to find the solutions to the business problems that every business regularly encounters. In addition, he is a really nice guy which is also important.

I first met Ian Ezzard as a young man when he joined my company as a fast-track manager back in 1983.

Fast forward 35 years when I retired, of working together at which Ian quickly became an integral part of the success we had at Wiles Group and latterly Wiles Greenworld becoming a shareholding director and business partner.

We were most successful at offering quality customer service, allied to great staff that hopefully we treated well and earned the respect and often long service of, not to mention reliable profitability in an often-volatile ever-changing market, where we went through several step changes in our offerings.
